This was exactly what we were looking for and it didn’t disappoint. Great wheelchair access in all the areas of the site. We could move around without hindrance including the Spa, jacuzzi and pool. Good accessible changing room. Steps into the pool but more assistance maybe available. The room was a great size and well equipped with sockets so no issue. Normal tea coffee etc assortment. We ate in the bar lounge 2 nights. The food was good (a couple of minor hiccups in service) I cannot write a review without mentioning the adorable Gizella. When we realised we had overslept to be able to make it to breakfast in time, due to the time my husband requirements to get mobile in the morning. I went to breakfast room and asked if I could take a tray back to the room. Gizella went above and beyond to make sure I had all I needed. All with such caring and a wonderful smile. We did get see her again on the 3rd morning and my husband and I thanked her again for her help. We will definitely be staying again. The city of Cambridge is a 15 minute drive away. There is also a retail park within 2 minutes drive of the hotel.

Had a really lovely spa treatment here at The Cambridge Belfry. Lily was really caution of my recent c section and reassured me if I had any pain alterations can be made. The treatment itself was relaxing and helped my breastfeeding shoulders massively to relieve the tension from baby. Thank you Lily.

1 night spa package stay with my Husband. Alana was my therapist in the spa. Fabulous treatment, massage pressure was perfect, found all my muscle knots and worked on them well! Easy to talk to andnvery professional. Our room was clean and tidy very comfortable, best pillow ive had in a hotel! The room was too warm however, but they had provided a fan. We had the dinner package also which is a generous allowance. My steak was cooked as i asked and the service was prompt and friendly. Excellent choice at breakfast and the full english was cooked also to perfection. Overall good value for what was actually included. Would stay again.

Stayed at The Belfry last weekend and it was excellent, checked in at the desk by Naomi who was very helpful answering all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. We loved the room and the spa area was peaceful and quiet even on a Saturday afternoon.

I booked an overnight spa package to take my sister for a treat for her birthday. Good value as included a treatment each, dinner and breakfast. I had a back and facial treatment with Alana which was bliss and I felt thoroughly relaxed afterwards. We had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and it was nice to be able to sit outside next to the lake in the evening. Room was clean and comfy beds. A nice little getaway.

Had a lovely time - friendly and relaxed. Demi on the bar was soo sweet and helpful. We loved our spa treatments with Brook and Alana. And lastly we were helped by the very professional Karolina. Highly recommend staying here, we will again.

I recently spent the day working remotely from The Belfry. It is a fantastic environment for getting work done, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Demi behind the bar was incredibly helpful, attentive, and cheerful throughout my visit. Excellent hospitality makes a huge difference when you are working on the go. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic week long experience. We used the accessible room. We had great help from reception staff - Helen and Neomi who facilitated our admin exchange, bathrobes etc. in addition, we had a phenomenal assistance from Gizela Craiu at the restaurant. She was amazingly helpful in helping us and bringing to the table the hot food and drinks, spending time explaining to us about the hotel and the region, helping us to reach the table and overall made out breakfasts a very enjoyable experience. Gizela is an absolute asset to the hotel!

Treated to a spa overnight stay for my birthday. Lovely hotel, excellent food and wine although the organisation at breakfast was poor , probably due to lack of staff. Crockery not topped up and needed to keep asking. Staff doing their best and very polite. Had an amazing hot stone massage from Brook. A very friendly and respectful young lady, thank you Brook, great massage! Would definitely book again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, great location, lots to visit from here. The room was a little warm but a fan was supplied which cooled us down when needed. We found the price reasonable for the amenities provided. Very clean throughout. We had requested a quiet room and were very happy with the one allocated. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. We had dinner one evening which was enjoyable but ventured out locally for the next and found plenty of choice nearby. Shame the bubbles in the jacuzzi weren’t working the first day but enjoyed it when they were back on the next. The pool was great for swimming, well marked out for different uses.

We stopped off on our way home from Norfolk, lots of parking, including disabled bays right by the entrance The young lady who checked us in was not very friendly, We had 3 rooms, 2 intercommunicating we had to call down for someone to open the doors. My room 123 was very comfortable, with a lovely ensuite shower, a window was open, which I was unable to close, and it was making the room very cold, I wanted to tell reception on our way down for dinner, but the desk was unattended, so after ordering dinner I had to phone the reception, and ask for someone to close the window. The service in the restaurant was very slow, but the food was nice, the soup was a tad cold but we didn't complain. All in all a nice quite hotel on the outskirts of Cambridge, I would stay again if I wanted to be near the city centre.

Great location for visiting Cambridge as Park & Ride close. Stayed for 2 nights with friends and rooms were very good especially our suite which was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful , especially Naomi on reception. Food was very good both in the evening and breakfast. Value for money excellent especially as it was a Travelzoo offer.

Easy to find, pleasant surroundings and tidy exterior. Plenty of car parking, and easy to drop off then park. Well appointed room, if getting a little tired and in need of a paint refresh. The chairs were comfortable, as was the bed. Nice bed linen and good pillows. My father slept soundly in a room facing away from the car park, but unfortunately our room overlooking the carpark was rather noisy as other guests left a private function and chatted and laughed for awhile very nearby. Once they'd dispersed we had a lovely rest. The breakfast was excellent, buffet style but everything was freshly done and delicious with an excellent selection. All the staff we met were lovely, and super helpful, especially Naomi on the front desk, and the nice young man looking after the spa, who let me have a look around. We did not use the spa, but we would like to if we go again. All in all, a good place to overnight.

I would have liked to have given 5 stars as the hotel was great. On arrival the receptionist was very informative and friendly despite the long queue of guests waiting to check in. Our twin room was modern with a large bathroom with both a bath and shower. A large TV, two comfortable armchairs and comfortable beds and excellent blackout curtains. A bonus was that the car could be parked within view of the room window. The breakfast was very good, with some items made to order, ie porridge, and a very good selection of hot and cold food, with helpful staff. For a change the toaster produced perfect toast. But we’d booked this hotel for the spa facilities which, for us, were sadly lacking. The pool is too small for both guests and swimming lessons. The Jacuzzi was closed for cleaning and the area noisy and chaotic. The changing rooms were worse. Loads of lockers but no space to change as so small and therefore crowded. They also didn’t look or smell clean. Not at all inviting.

We stayed at the Cambridge Belfry for a spa weekend. The room was clean and comfortable and the well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. I think the spa could do with a little refresh. The changing room could do with a spruce up as its all looking a bit tired.

As a family we discovered this hotel when looking for somewhere to stay for my nephew’s wedding at South Farm, Royston. From start to finish the staff on reception could not have been more helpful reassuring me that all would go smoothly in terms of booking in and out individually and at different times, taxi recommendations, meal times, bedding arrangements for small grandchildren. I arrived a day earlier than my family and Naomi I believe her name is could not have been more charming, welcoming or helpful. Equally the case when Karolina later took over on reception. Whilst Emily and Helen had fewer interactions with me, they were just as professional and helpful on the 2 occasions I needed advice. The rooms were excellent: even the classic is a very good size and comfortably accommodates 2 easy chairs and a coffee table alongside a desk and chair. I’d booked a junior suite for my daughter and family as they needed extra space for their 4 year old and 18 month old: they were blown away by it! As I stayed on for a few days R and R post wedding, I was able to make use of the leisure facilities: the pool is a good size and the sauna and steam room excellent. The weather was glorious and I was able to make the most of the beautiful area outside to sit and enjoy an early evening drink overlooking the Lake. I wish it were closer to home as it is a new favourite!
